Methane Quantification Device

The Hetek Flow Sampler (HFC) is a portable, intrinsically safe, battery-powered instrument designed to enable precise methane quantification in natural gas components. It operates by sampling at a high flow rate to ensure comprehensive capture of methane emissions from the component. By accurately measuring both the flow rate of the sampling stream and the methane concentration within that stream, the device calculates methane emission rates in cubic feet per minute (CFM) or litres per minute (LPM).

Methane Emissions Sensitivity and Range Accuracy:

The Hetek Flow Sampler stands as a beacon of precision and is a key component of your LDAR toolkit. UL, CSA, and ATEX certified for intrinsic safety in hazardous environments, the HFS is able to quantify leaks with flow rates as low as 4.95 gph (0.126 slpm) with an average accuracy of +/- 4.2%.

Powering the Hetek Flow Sampler are two robust 4.8 V Nickel-Cadmium rechargeable batteries. These batteries ensure that the device remains operational for a commendable 8 hours, 4 hours per battery, on a full charge allowing for a full day of field work without having to recharge the battery.
