Nasal Odourant Sensitivity Evaluations     Hetek also provides "Nasal Odourant Sensitivity Evaluations" (Project N.O.S.E). The intention of this program is to provide an objective measure of the olfactory sensitivity of individuals conducting the so-called "sniff tests" as part of an LDC's gas odourization program. The program may also include "first response personnel" and other utility staff, as designated by management. These evaluations not only assist odourization programs but also lend a degree of confidence to field technicians regarding their olfactory sensitivity.
